I'm giving serious thought to moving my homebase from Los Angeles to Austin, TX...
So I'm setting the intent that the entire process be easy, fun, and grace-filled...and that once there I'm overwhelmed with gratitude at how life in Austin makes my already great life in LA pale in comparison.
I'd love any connections and suggestions you have...
Peace,
Scott

Wow! That's some move! I will add my positive thoughts to your intent to be moved and with all of the attributes that you desire … this and/or anything better!
Ask and it is given!
So mote it be…
Thanks Kelly ;)
I have some friends in Austin, Scott. One works at UT, the other is a dentist (if not retired by now, hmmmn.. I wonder…!) What I will tell you is you will LOVE Austin. An oasis in Texas, is what my friends call it. Buncha “damn liberals.”!
May I ask: Why the move from the West Coast to Texas?
Well…it's been on my radar for about 2 yrs now (then i wasn't sure why)…but in the last several months the teacher I've been working with this last year bought a house and moved there. Working with him has had more profound impact on my awareness, state, and experience of life than any other teacher to date. I also manage all the retreats for him and am intricately involved in the works unfolding. Austin is supposed to be the blue state in the red state…super rad people, young, progressive, green, and very open to the work I do.
I will say that giving up Los Angeles weather isn't easy :) I've been truly spoiled the last seven years here.
Moving to Austin just feels right. I've also got a few other close friends moving there and know a couple of great people there already…and it's a direct flight to most of the places I go.
I lived just an hour north of Austin in Temple, Texas for almost seven years. Oh my how I just, just detested it…that seems so cruel. But then, just an hour south was one of my favorite cities to this day and, I believe, always will be–Austin, Texas. If I had to relocate again, this city would definitely top my list. Beautiful people, parks, music, ideas… I've traveled much of the country, and Austin rocks (smile),
Take care.
Scott, I say go for it! I lived in Dallas for 2 years and traveled to Austin often. Cool people, awesome music, great energy…sounds like you are already on your way! If you're feelin' it and the synchronicities are lining up…what else is there? It is beautiful too and so much to do. Good luck on your journey:)
